This website was established to provide site-related information and current site activities to the public. The site is maintained by the Cox Road Group (CRG) and is a communication tool for all stakeholders.

The Cox Road Landfill Site (also known as Liberty Waste Disposal Landfill) is an 83-acre former industrial waste disposal facility. It is located in Liberty County, Texas, near the city of Dayton.

Currently, the Affected Property Assessment Report (APAR) and the Response Action Plan (RAP) have been completed, reviewed and approved by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). A qualified environmental construction and engineering firm has been selected to perform remedial activities. Pre-Construction activities are ongoing and site construction is estimated to begin during the forth quarter of 2010. See the Overall Project Status link for more information.
